There are promising developments regarding pension tax compensation. As you may recall, the Member States initiated a task force to address the issue of EUROCONTROL compensating for the tax on pensions. Although the task force has sent its conclusions to the Standing Committee for Finance, the committee has taken notes, and decided to continue the work of the task force before any formal consultation with social partners. No proposal will be presented at the next Provisional Council meeting. Our massive consultation and lobbying efforts have paid off, highlighting the importance of this issue and the redline for our Union. This topic remains of paramount importance to our members and is not yet resolved. FFPE continues to be a staunch advocate for the protection of our pension rights.
